Cody

Cody was a special boy from the moment we brought him home. He was always a loving snuggle bug who found his “voice” after three days and never stopped “talking” after that. He was one of our first “children” before we had non-furry ones and showed us what a true friend can be. He always greeted us with a roo-roo song when we got home and was always by our side (and we by his). We took him camping, on many hikes and swims together and he loved his walks. He was not an ARPH dog but he helped our adopted ARPH dog Jack learn trust and manners as well as quite a few temporary fosters that came through our home.

Unfortunately Cody developed an inoperable tumor that grew in his abdomen and cancer spread to multiple organs. He fought admirably with no complaints and made it much further than expected but finally lost the battle with cancer. We had 13.5 wonderful years with this special guy and it broke our hearts to lose him. We gave him the best life we possibly could and know that he is now pain free romping with his friends over the rainbow bridge.

Thank you for touching our lives Cody.
