Trixie ARPH 8383

I was lucky to have the best little Aussie girl live with me for three years, thanks to Aussie Rescue and Tim and Diana who fostered her and broughther to me.  Trixie passed out of her old body today and lives in spirit now freefrom the bonds of pain and limitation.  I held her beloved head in my lap and told her that it was okay.  It’s not okay for me today but she needed release and that is the obligation that we have to our good pals. I will miss her “Blue Dog” stare when she was trying to mentally bend me to her will and her frustrated bark that said, “Get over there and get me a biscuit! Are you deaf?”  She loved to protect me from the evil vacuum cleaner and even defeated one entirely–it broke down with the scars of Trixie’s attacks on its plastic hide.  At the end of her defense of the carpet, she was rewarded with a relaxing massage–she loved to be vacuumed with the hose attachment. I am grateful for the time that I had with Trixie.  She rounded out our lives.
