Savannah Sad Story

fcas-senior-aussie.jpgThis sweet older Aussie girl was turned into the shelter by her owner.  She is already spayed. This older girl deserves a better outcome to her life than being euthanized at a shelter just because her former owners did not care about her.  If you can save this dogs life please contact the shelter directly or if you are interested in fostering her please contact Aussie Rescue.

    Fergi - URGENT

rt.jpgrt-chatooga.jpgThis is one of the saddest cases we’ve seen in a long time.  Poor Fergi was bred over and over again and then dumped in the shelter covered in mange.  She’s praying for a kind person to come along and make her future brighter.  We do not have foster space for this dog, please call the shelter ASAP to save her life.

  • Max

    max.jpg

This is Max. White witha few red colored spots on back and right side. He is an australian sheperd. He is 2 years old. Max is totally deaf and partially blind. His left eye is blue and he seems to be able to see from it fairly well. His right eye has some deformities to it and he cannot see at all from that eye. Max came to us as an owner surrender. His previous owner has had him since he was 6 weeks of age. He is two years old now. He seems to be well socialized and is very friendly and fairly gentle, not extremely hyper. He is an active dog, but just needs time out to run and play Please call or email for more information.

**PLEASE NOTE: We are the Humane Society of Statesboro and Bulloch County (not the Bulloch County Animal Shelter). We DO NOT HAVE A LOCATION at this time. All the pets in our care are in foster homes.
