Bella the former Darma is doing wonderfully now and living in Hilton Head, she has a great Golden dog pal to keep her busy. She has turned into a beautiful dog with a loving personality. Darma was a puppy mill seizure dog that had never set foot on grass till she came to the ARPH program, she was shy, and scared of everything but today she is a happy healthy and much loved family member to the Rocco family. Her sister also lives in the Savannah area!
I was looking at my pictures and I saw this one of Tuscany. I thought I would send it to you so you could see he is a happy guy, loving life with his new family. He is no doubt sitting here waiting to remind the neighborhood he is king of this hill with a friendly bark.
Tuscany is a joy to our family! He has so much gentle love and appreciation for the small stuff in life. He reminds us often to not sweat the small stuff. Kim, we are constantly reminded that someone, somewhere in his life took the time to have him sit and shake. He often when asked to sit offers his left paw as if he is ready to shake. This is something this old dog has never forgotten. Funny thing is I remember your story when listed for adoption is his offering his paw was what saved his life.
Thank you again for all your time and talent in helping God’s great gifts of rescued dogs. He is truly a blessing in our life and we thank you for making this possible.
Time has slipped by and I hadn’t thought to keep you informed. Mick is healthy, happy, and I believe he will always act like a puppy. I’ve attached the last professional picture I had taken of him even though I have plenty of others I’ve taken myself. His foster parents would probably like to see the picture, too, whenever you see them.
I just wanted to give you an update on Savannah (AKA Kola). She is now 4.5 years old and today we finally got around to getting our first two Agility titles and the best part is that it was at a ASCA show in VA. She is such a natural talent.
Anyway, she’s a great dog and I couldn’t adore her more. I’ve attached a couple photos, keep in mind I shave her for summer so she looks thin coated!
Scrabble and Yatzi are adopted together! They will have lots of play time with each other
Mako has joined the Fults family where he is quickly making new friends and has a big brother Skeeter to help keep him company.
Bella joins Deb Billings of TN and is enjoying her life as a pampered princess.
Dara has joined the Stolte family, she has lots of room to run and play, we are sure she will enjoy her new family.
Larsen has been adopted along with his ARPH sister Lucy (formerly Derry). Lucy is really enjoying having a playmate full time.
Ellie joins the Crelin family of Cumming, GA who took great care in finding the right fit for their family. She’s enjoying an active lifestyle with lots of new friends and two kids of her own.
Oakley joins the Ledford family of Kennesaw, GA. Steven is loving have an Aussie in his house again.
Hello there to our friends at ARPH! Just wanted to give you guys a quick update on the beautiful Aussie that we adopted a few months ago. We have since re-named Zephyr to Copper and have been loving every minute spent with her. Our other dog, Baker, gets along great with her…they have been side by side ever since we first saw Copper. She has kicked the habit of being aggressive when feeding and has made a 180* turn around since we brought her home. She’s opened up so much, even greets strangers with a wagging tail. Although we have discovered that she does get a bit car-sick, we try to take frequent pit-stops on road trips up to the mountains, lake, etc… I have never witnessed such a loving, sweet, innocent soul as her. We truly feel blessed to have her as part of our family. Attached are a few current pictures, please enjoy them. In a couple of weeks we will be taking a trip to Outerbanks, NC and the dogs will have their first beach experience!
Ferris is now owned and loved by the Brannen family and their Aussie in Dacula, Ga. His new family is loving having an active young dog to keep them on their toes.
Derry found her forever home at City of Duluth Bark in the Park. An approved adopter who has been waiting awhile for the right dog to come along came by and met Derry and took her home. Yay!
Milo sends a big puppy kiss to Sheley Revis, and her Aussies Enzo and Sydney for their generous donation towards his care. And to his foster parents (now forever family), the Steen family, that have taken such good care of him through his heartworm treatment.
Marcell had joined the Cordell family in Lawrenceville, he had some big shoes to fill after the loss of Tybee another ARPH dog adotped by the Cordell family. He is happy watching over the granola making and being the kitchen supervisor! We are happy this sweet boy could help fill the void left by Tybee’s untimely passing.
Bandit joins the Fischer family of Woodstock, GA and their Aussie Smokey. These boys are having a grand time playing tug of war together, and Bandit has a huge yard and his own pool to keep him busy.
Sophie has joined her new family in Florida, they report that she is doing great and they love her! She is the queen of the house and enjoys being pampered.
Felix joins the Hardy family of Ellijay, GA and their two Aussies. He’s enjoying all of his time spent with his new Dad in the foothills of the Appalacians.
Dooley is certainly a very lucky dog. He came into rescue with his son Felix. The Hardy family and their two Aussies adopted Felix a couple of weeks ago. Ms. Hardy just couldn’t get good ole’ Dooley out of her mind though. On 8/25, Dooley also joined the Hardy family, and the reports are that father and son are elated to be reunited. We couldn’t be happier that these two handsome fellas were adopted into the same home after spending their whole lives together.
Rose has found her forever home in Savannah with the Dravis family, where she will enjoy her time traveling with her new family, last report was she was in South Dakota and having a great time on the road…
Darby joins the Barozzini family of Canton GA and their Aussie mix Indy adopted from ARPH in January of 2008. Miss Darby stayed with their new parents for a weekend while her foster Mom was traveling, and she was such a perfect fit, they just couldn’t let her go. She is helping to teach her new brother a better way to behave and they just adore each other. We hope to see this happy family at Aussie Palooza later in October.
Simon has joined the Weaver family in Florida, his new name is Splash and you can see his updates from his new family at this link. He is doing great in his new home.

Paula has been adopted by the Ryhne family in Richmond Hill GA, she is joining her new brother Oreo and is looking forward to keeping the family busy.
Sebastian has joined the James family Florida, who could not wait to have him.. he is also close to his brother Simon (Splash) and if you look at the link on Simon’s success story you can see the reunion they had at puppy class. He has a wonderful home and his new picture is him in his favorite chair.
Miles joins the Random family of Gainesville, GA. He is pictured here with his new Dad, Jody.
Kaleb now lives on a farm in Dallas, GA with the Barr family. He is busy helping his new Dad with the daily chores.
Bert joins Shawn Schlabach of Decatur GA and is enjoying meeting all kinds of new friends at Piedmont Park.
Kenai’s foster home loved him so much, they just couldn’t part with him. He joins ARPH dogs Elwood and Rusty with the Barber family in Dallas, GA.
Cecil (now Pablo) joins Pamela Ensley of Savannah, GA in her beautiful home there. And will enjoy much love and companionship with his new owner. Cecil is looking for some Savannah Aussies to play with and likes going to the dog park.
Liz joins the Locke family of Panama City, FL.
Bailey joins the Bruner family and their Aussie Brandi in Canton, GA. He has three cats to keep him company on his very own dog bed.
Martie joins the Davenport family of Lawrenceville, GA.
Gertie has found a wonderful forever home with the Buntin family. She will be a much loved family member and have lots of cats to keep her company. Her new family reports that she has made fast friends with the cats in her new home and also got a trip to the groomer and is a beautiful girl inside and outside! What a success for her. Gertie continues to love her new home, going for an Easter Egg Hunt and getting ready for a trip to the beach, her famiy reports she holds her head high now and they are so happy with her.
Talley joins the Real family in Woodstock, GA. 
Cori joins the Von Behren family of Atlanta, GA.
Caliope joins her ARPH sister Gertie and her new family the Buntins.
